The auger fits standard chucked drills with a 3/8-inch or larger chuck. We recommend using an 18V or greater cordless drill for best performance. Do not use the auger with an impact driver, drill bit extension, or socket.

What can I plant with the Power Planter Bulb Planting Auger?

The three-inch-wide auger is ideal for planting fall bulbs such as tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths, as well as three- to four-inch potted bedding plants. It can dig holes up to approximately six inches deep, making it especially handy when planting many bulbs at once.

Why use a planting auger instead of digging each hole by hand?
